Welcome to Instructa. By accessing or using our platform (website and mobile app), you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Account Registration & Verification

Instructors must create an account, providing accurate information and verifying their identity, including necessary licenses and insurance.
Learners must provide accurate personal information to book lessons and use the platform.
We may verify accounts, including bank details, before processing payments.

2. Payment & Transactions

Instructors: Payments are processed through Stripe Connect. Instructors must set up their Stripe Connect account to receive payments directly. Platform fees will be deducted from each lesson booking.
Learners: Payments for lessons can be made through various methods including Apple Pay, Google Pay, and credit/debit cards. Learners must ensure payment details are valid before booking.
Subscriptions: Subscription plans for both instructors and learners are available. Payments for subscriptions will be processed on a recurring basis unless cancelled.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

Instructor Cancellations: Instructors must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Failure to do so may result in penalties or account restrictions.
Learner Cancellations: Learners can cancel lessons within 24 hours for a full refund. Less than 24 hours before the lesson may result in no refund.
Disputes: Payments for disputed lessons may be temporarily held until the issue is resolved.

4. Data Protection & Privacy

We are committed to protecting your personal information. By using our platform, you agree to our Privacy Policy. All user data will be processed in compliance with applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR).

5. Usage Guidelines

Instructors: Must maintain professionalism and comply with UK driving laws. Instructors are responsible for the quality of lessons, vehicle safety, and ensuring a safe learning environment.
Learners: Must respect instructors, be punctual, and follow all safety rules during lessons.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the platform, including logos, graphics, text, and software, is owned by [App Name] and is protected by copyright laws. You may not use, copy, or distribute any content without prior written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Service. We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by the use of the platform, including third-party services like payment processors.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate user accounts at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms and Conditions, fraud, or misuse of the platform.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. You will be notified of significant changes via email or in-app notifications. Continued use of the platform after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
